Mobile Relationship Manager - Kilmore Branch, Permanent full time

About the Role

The Mobile Relationship Manager is responsible for driving member lending acquisition via new business development and established referrals sources. The Mobile Relationship Manager will build on existing and ever-growing networks, providing great financial outcomes for our members, provide a seamless and enjoyable member experience and source new opportunities and hold meaningful conversations to uncover financial needs and ultimately providing members and potential members with appropriate solutions.

About You (Key Selection Criteria)

  • Our values (Integrity, Responsible, Progressive and Excellence) align with yours. 
  • A Certificate IV in Finance and Broker Management with well-developed business lending and credit analysis skills and the ability to deliver needs-based financial solutions.
  • You hold Tier 2 certification or have the ability to successfully complete within two months of commencement
  • You have a proven and proactive track record of business development and portfolio growth with established quality referral sources and networks 
  • Strong relationship management skills – stakeholders, members, and local community
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to working in a highly autonomous role, manage own portfolio, achieve defined objectives with the ability to manage evolving priorities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to manage relationships effectively and consultatively with a diverse range of internal & external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of prompt high quality member services. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Ability to promote and follow compliance, risk and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Current Victorian car licence
  • The ability to successfully meet GMCU’s pre-employment screening requirements.

Member Care Specialist

  • No. of positions available: Three (3)
  • Position type: Permanent full-time (part time hours will be considered)
  • Locations: Within the GMCU network


About the Role

As a Member Care Specialist within our Member Care Centre, you’ll be the friendly voice our members hear when they contact us. You will assist members manage their day-to-day banking across a range of products and empathetically provide extra care to members facing challenges meeting financial commitments. 

Flexibility in work hours may be required, and the hours of operation may be extended as needed to support the delivery of member services

You will work across a diverse breadth of enquiries, including:​​

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Follow communication guidelines and identification requirements.
  • Identify members’ needs, clarify information, explore every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives ensuring a positive member experience.
  • Provide exceptional services and support to members by being informative, courteous and professional at all times. 

About You (Key Selection Criteria for this role)

  • You have demonstrated sales or customer service skills and experience. 
  • You’re enthusiastic and possess a drive to exceed member expectations. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • You have a keen eye for detail. 
  • You have good computer skills and can use a variety of systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, POS systems) 
  • Working independently to achieve defined objectives and prioritise your workload comes naturally. 
  • Flexible approach to hours of duty.
  • Ability to participate as an active and positive team member.

Desirable

  • Demonstrated ability in the promotion and sales of financial products and services.
  • Previous Call Centre or other relevant experience
  • Previous experience in sales and service business environment
